Our Membership

From its inception, the Network has been focused on strengthening the cultural, economic and social ties with Ireland. Membership is diverse and open to all, including Irish-born individuals, friends of Ireland and Irish-Americans. Membership options have evolved since the Network began, and now includes:

• Friend of IN-DC ($150)

• Regular membership ($75)

• Student membership ($15)

Subscribed membership remains IN-DC’s main form of financial support and while the board of IN-DC consciously organizes events and promotions for subscribed members, consistent with the initial intent to grow links with the diaspora, a subscribed membership is not required to engage with us and the Irish Community in Washington, DC.  IN-DC strives to create a strong, friendly and open connection to Ireland for all. We would be delighted to have you as a member of IN-DC!

IN-DC Code of Conduct

Irish Network - DC (IN-DC) is committed to fostering a safe environment for all members and guests at our events. Harassment of any kind including, but not limited to, harassment based on gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, political beliefs, religion, physical appearance or any other characteristics will not be tolerated. Our members and guests must be courteous, mutually respectful, pleasant and non-coercive towards one another. All members of IN-DC, including the Board of Directors and volunteers, are required to abide by this policy. If a member or guest feels that they have been harassed or made unwelcome on the basis of gender, race, national origin, ethnic background, or any other characteristic they should immediately report the matter to a Board member so that IN-DC can resolve the matter.
