Join IN-DC in 2018 for our Professional Development Series

In collaboration with Paddy Meskell, we bring you a series of workshops designed especially for IN-DC Members – ‘Leadership for Life - Shifting our Thinking and Building our Capacities’. 

This series was launched in November 2017, with the first of four workshops entitled ‘Personal Growth Mindset. And/And vs Either/Or. Powerful Conversations that Shift our Thinking.’ Each interactive and participative workshops will focus on the thinking, actions, and skills that enable us to become more engaged in our careers and effective as citizens in achieving a future of our choosing. We now invite IN-DC members to join us for the remaining workshops:

Wednesday January 17, 2018: Session 2) ‘Courageous Conversations - The Next Level’

Tuesday, February 13, 2018: Session 3) ‘Building a life of Ownership, Commitment and Accountability’

Tuesday, March 20, 2018: Session 4) ‘Coaching Ourselves, Coaching Others’

About Paddy Meskell: Paddy Meskell has over 30 years’ experience in creating and leading organizations. He has led the recruitment, training and leadership development functions in a large utility with over 12,000 people. He co-founded two software companies that created and distributed innovative software products to the global financial markets. He has also worked on Wall Street. As Director of Organizational Development for Sallie Mae–the Student Loan Marketing Association–he was responsible for leading company-wide culture and organizational change and leadership development.

As Executive Vice President of Operations and member of the Board of Silver Diner, a regional restaurant company, he was responsible for all elements of company operations, including strategy design and execution, planning, budgeting, goal setting, leadership development, brand delivery, customer experience and workplace culture development. He was also responsible for all elements of operational and financial performance.

Format: Workshop, snacks and beverages will be served.

Registration: This an IN-DC-members only event. Members are encouraged to attend all three remaining workshops, however they are standalone events. Registrations will be offered on a first-come-first-serve basis. Subscribed members will be given initial preference for registration. We sincerely request that you notify us if you cannot attend. Please don’t register on the “off chance” you may come – we will try to accommodate you if you find you can and contact us close to the time.
